Bid List

Is out.

And all I want to do is go to sleep. This becoming a diplomat thing is tiring...

All I'll say about the list is that I'm happy with it, especially a couple posts (and especially if I get assigned one of 'em). However, I'm just going to stay zen through all of this and know that wherever they send me, it'll all work out.

For additional thoughts, I refer you to my classmate's lovely blog here.

A 9pm bedtime isn't too embarrassing, is it?

(p.s. - yes, I do need a new blog title I guess. Suggestions?)

  1. Okay...I have seen you 160th peeps around...we must run into each other. Where are you staying?

I don't want to randomly scream in the cafeteria..."HEY is Diplomat in Waiting here". = )

  3. Glad to hear you're happy with the long-awaited list. Can't wait to hear where you'll be heading (in the ME, I assume). I'll be bidding vicariously through you!

  4. So exciting. I am so jealous of the (what I think are) great NEA posts available.

  7. Hey there!
All I can say is that "I'm tired too!" It's exhausting to uproot your job, life, friends, family; to head to a new place, new time zone, new job; full of high hopes, high expectations, high heels... You'll be feeling better after about week three. But I'm really glad you A-100 folks are out there: on the shuttle, in the cafeteria, 'cause it lets me feel that at least there's someone with 2 weeks less experience than me out there! Hope to run into you by the water cooler. I'm the one with cat hair on her suit.
    Regards, The Tabbies' Keeper
